Volunteer Opportunities

We create kehillah (community) not only by performing acts of tikkun olam (repairing the world) but also through our commitment to providing a caring and welcoming atmosphere. Over 1000 BJ members volunteer every year using talents ranging from cooking meals to leading shiva minyanim, from strategic planning to visiting the sick. Our community is built on the involvement of these active volunteers and is a source of great pride. Members and non-members have an open invitation to support our community by volunteering. Volunteering creates intimacy and builds friendships. It is the secret to making this large community feel like a tight-knit family.
