Biography

Alan and his family have been members of BJ since 2001. Currently, Alan is a Managing Partner of Truarc Partners, a middle-market private equity firm.  From 2005 to 2021, Alan was a Partner of private equity firm Snow Phipps Group. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse and Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette. Alan is a Director on six corporate boards in the business, industrial and financial services sectors, and a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board of the School of Business at SUNY Albany.  Alan is married to Jessica Feder Mantel and they have three children, Lauren, Rebecca and Joshua.
