We’re All In: Becoming a 100% Voting Community in 2025

In 2025, we’re renewing our commitment to becoming a 100% voting community, and we need your participation to make it happen! Whether it’s your first time voting or your 50th, your voice matters. Make sure you’re ready to cast your ballot this year!

The below information is for the NYC election this November 4. If you do not live in New York City, check your local voting information.

Step 1: Register to Vote

Important deadlines:
  • In-person and online registration: Must be completed by October 25.
  • By mail: Your registration must be received (not just postmarked!) by October 25.

Step 2: Make a Plan to Vote

There are three ways to vote in NYC this year.

BJ’s 2024 Beyond the Ballot Series & 2025 Jewish Mayoral Forum

In 2024, leading up the national elections, BJ organized many opportunities to get involved in strengthening civic engagement including volunteer get out the vote efforts, poll monitor trainings, and programming on civic engagement and elections, including a Faith in Democracy series with Shalom Hartman Institute.

In 2025, BJ hosted a Mayoral Candidate Forum for the Jewish Community: A Just and Inclusive NYC, which offered a critical opportunity for New York City’s Jewish community to hear directly from the 2025 mayoral candidates.
