Come join fellow 30s and 40s for a summer happy hour! There will be cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, a chance to mingle with old and new friends, and a sneak peak into upcoming events. 

BJ Teens Civil Rights Journey (9th & 10th Grade)

BJ Teens in 9th and 10th grade are invted to join the Civil Rights Journey to the South. Participants will learn about the struggles of African Americans to gain equality in the 1950s & 60s along with Jewish involvment.

Israeli Politics Discussion Group with Dr. Avi Shilon

BJ members are invited to participate in a discussion group focused on Israeli politics. Guest speaker Dr. Avi Shilon will join us for a discussion on Menachem Begin, the most “Jewish” prime minister Israel has ever had.

Hebrew Speaking Havurah

The Hebrew Speaking Havurah continues! This month, we will gather to celebrate Israel’s 74th anniversary with a film. We will watch “Mivtza Savta” (Operation Grandma), an Israeli cult movie, followed by a discussion about life in the kibbutz.

7th & 8th Grade Trip to Washington DC

Join our annual 7th-8th grade trip to Washington DC. This trip provides an opportunity for our students to further their learning about the Holocaust while bonding with their peers and connecting to the BJ community outside of the classroom.
