Annual Meeting 2020

All current BJ members are invited to the 2020 Annual Meeting of Congregation B’nai Jeshurun (“BJ”), which will be held by Zoom video conference and by teleconference.

This notice and the agenda for the Annual Meeting are being provided to all members by email (and by mail for members who have not provided email addresses). The agenda for the Annual Meeting is set forth on Schedule A. The proposed actions to be approved by the members at the Annual Meeting are as follows:

• Trustees: Election of the individuals listed on Schedule B as trustees
• Officers: Election of the individuals listed on Schedule C as officers

Attached as Schedule D is a form of proxy, which members can complete, scan, and send by email to jpotter@bj.org. 

In early June, we held a virtual town hall meeting where we heard reports from our rabbis, executive director, board leaders and treasurer about the accomplishments we achieved during our fiscal year 2019/2020. 

At the Annual Meeting, we will update you on our plans to move forward during these unprecedented times. Lastly, we will take a moment to say “thank you” to our outgoing trustees: Dale Bernstein, Galit Lopatin Bordereau, Josh Penzner, and Irv Rosenthal.

If you have not yet renewed your membership for 2020-21, you should have received a renewal email on Thursday, August 27. If you cannot find the email, please contact Matthew Davey to renew your membership.
