Biography

Justin Rosen Smolen and his husband, Avi Smolen, are proud members of BJ, where they are privileged to introduce their young children, Aaron and Kaylee, to the joy of Jewish life through Tot Shabbat, community kiddush, and other phenomenal family programs. In his professional work, Justin serves as the National Director of Youth Programs at Keshet, overseeing partnerships to advance the participation, visibility, and leadership of LGBTQ teens and young adults throughout the Jewish community.
