Wise Living
Each new life stage brings spiritual challenges and opportunities, raising questions about identity, relationships, health, and family. The Renee and Norman Kaufman Wise Living program brings together small groups of BJ members to reflect on these questions in a supportive environment.
Grounded in mindfulness practices such as meditation, journaling, and text study, Wise Living offers social, emotional, and spiritual insights to help individuals navigate their current life stage with meaning and resourcefulness. The program is based on the book Wise Aging: Living with Joy, Resilience, and Spirit by BJ members Rabbi Rachel Cowan (z’l) and Dr. Linda Thal.
The Renee and Norman Kaufman Wise Living program is made possible by the generous support of the Kaufman and Levkov families, and we are grateful for their commitment to this project.
