Manhattan Counts 2020 Interfaith Census
Attend a census town hall in Harlem for the diverse faith traditions in the neighborhood, hosted by Interfaith Center of NY in partnership with the Manhattan Borough President’s Office, eMgage, and the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture.
This “census 101” will provide pertinent information regarding faith communities and the census, as well as dispelling myths that have been circulating around this issue. We will have a panel of faith leaders speaking about the census from their perspectives. There will be a keynote speaker, a presentation on the census, and a question and answer session.
We are working on some volunteer opportunities to engage locally in census work. Interested in being involved? Contact Larissa.
