Erev Shabbat/Pesah VII Services
Passionately traditional, boldly innovative, and deeply spiritual, Shabbat services at BJ are like no other. Join us remotely on Friday nights for a joyful Kabbalat Shabbat service infused with uplifting melodies from across the Jewish world, brought to life by our extraordinary musicians, and deepened by the wisdom of our tradition, calling us to renew our commitment to building a world of justice, dignity, and peace.
Services will also be available on Zoom for members only, via the same link as Shabbat Morning Services.
If you would like to follow along with our services from home, download a free PDF of Siddur Lev Shalem, our prayer book for all Shabbat services, for your own personal use. If you would prefer a physical copy, the siddurim are available for purchase via the Rabbinical Assembly website.
We are pleased to share the following alternative to Mourner’s Kaddish, written by Rabbi Haim Ovadia, meant to be recited when there is no minyan present. As our livestream does not constitute a minyan, we invite those who are saying Kaddish this Shabbat to print this prayer in advance of tuning in.
