Biography

Robert Bankis President and CEO of American Jewish World Service, the leading Jewish organization working to promote human rights in the developing world. Robert and his partner Alan Cohen are proud members of BJ, and are inspired by its legacy of and continued commitment to advancing social justice. Robert serves on the advisory board of Safety Respect Equity, a Jewish coalition to address sexual harassment and gender discrimination, and on the board of Leading Edge, the alliance for excellence in Jewish leadership.
