Marvin Israelow
Biography
Marvin Israelow and his family have been members of BJ for more than a decade. Marvin worked as an organizational development consultant for nearly 30 years, providing clients with a broad range of services, including strategic planning, team development, leadership counseling, and customized seminars in change management and career development. Since his retirement, Marvin has participated in retreat-based programs conducted by the Institute for Jewish Spirituality, completing the Institute’s Jewish Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Training program in 2013. He also completed the Hebrew Union College—Jewish Institute of Religion’s Spiritual Director training program in 2017. He currently serves on the Board of Institute for Jewish Spirituality and has facilitated Wise Aging programs at BJ and at Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan. Marvin is married to Dorian Goldman and they have three sons, three daughters-in-law, and six grandchildren.
