Aviv 20s and 30s are invited to join with Base UWS to commemorate Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day). Zikaron BaSalon (Remembrance in the Living Room) encourages us to honor the lives of those who were lost in the Holocaust—and those who survived—through personal narrative.
We will be joined by Shelly Kivell as she shares her family’s story. Shelly’s mother, Selma Belfer Ruben of blessed memory, fled Krakow as a child and lost much of her family to the evils of the Holocaust. We hope you’ll participate in this moving evening of story, uplifting memories, and imagining a brighter future.
Please contact Rabbi Danny with any questions. Address given upon registration.
We’re grateful to be in partnership with Base UWS for this evening.
