Volunteer Attorneys and Translators Needed to Assist Immigrant Youth
The Legal Assistance Team of BJ’s Refugee and Immigration Committee is working with Safe Passage Project to provide pro bono representation for children under the age of 21 in immigration proceedings. Many of these children have fled life-threatening situations in their home countries, do not speak English, and are survivors of trauma.
Join us at 6:30PM for dinner, followed by a training for attorneys who are prepared to take a case, working alone or with a partner (training beings at 7:00PM).
