Torah of Israel: Avi Dabush—Shared Land, Shared Life
Join us for our Sunday morning learning program following morning minyan. In celebration of Yom Ha’Atzma-ut this month, Avi Dabush of Rabbis for Human Rights will join us to discuss a vision for Israel and Palestine where all people live together in peace.
Avi Dabush serves as the CEO of Rabbis for Human Rights, an Israeli organization that works within and about the Occupied Territories, promotes social and economic justice within Israel, and sponsors activities in the fields of education and interreligious dialogue. He also co-founded the Movement for the Future of the Western Negev, which brings together the voices of residents of the South calling for a political agreement between Israel and Gaza. Avi is a writer for Haaretz and Yisrael Hayom and recently published his first book, Mered Ha’Peripheryot (The Rebel of Periphery).
