Tips and Tricks for Teens to Thrive in Emotionally Charged Conversations

Engaging in productive dialogue across differences is a skill that requires knowledge and practice. Rather than focus on how to win debates, we’ll explore how to engage in constructive conversations and establish the credibility one needs to persuade others. Zachary Schaffer and Abir Maliyanker (BJ’s shaliah) will discuss how interpersonal conflict arises, the human nature behind polarization, and how we can depolarize communities in conflict and engage in civil discourse across divides. Recommended for all BJ member teens, Grades 8-12.
