Reach for Shabbat Retreat 2022

This year’s Reach for Shabbat Retreat is October 28-30, 2022 at the Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center.

Shabbat is the heartbeat of communal and spiritual life at BJ.  Everyone is invited on Shabbat to connect and deepen bonds with community, to open up the soul for searching for God and to renew and imagine a more perfect world.  Through prayer, celebration, study, fun, and communal meals, we will Reach for 25 hours of Shabbat with joy, beauty, song, and silence.

The retreat is a part of the Kadima@BJ curriculum. Registered Gimmel (3rd grade), Dalet (4th grade), Hey (5th grade), and Vav (6th grade) Kadima@BJ families have one student and one parent’s attendance included in their tuition. Children will not be permitted to attend without an adult. Additional guests are welcome for an additional fee.
