Preparing for the High Holy Days in a Time of Uncertainty: Home-hosted
All events in seriesHow do we look forward to a new year when there is so much uncertainty and suffering in the world? What is the meaning of teshuvah in the face of this brokenness? In these intimate learning sessions, we will study texts that explore the spiritual challenge of living in uncertain times and how the work of heshbon hanefesh (soul accounting) that is asked of us this time of year can offer guidance.
Sessions will be variously led by Rabbis Roly Matalon, Felicia Sol, Becca Weintraub, Rabbinic Fellows Anina Dassa and Joe Blumberg, Rabbi Deena Cowans, Rabbi Sammy Kanter, Cantor David Mintz, and Rabbi Shuli Passow.
Aside from our Aviv session, all sessions are open to members only.
