Community Learning and Discussion About Israel with Professor Moshe Halbertal
The current political situation in Israel, and the most recent violence, has stirred many conflicting emotions for American Jews.
Join us to hear analysis and insight from Professor Halbertal, a leading thinker in Israeli society on ethics, justice, and democracy– and how they relate to Zionism. Come and hear the analysis and insight of one of the main contributors to the Israeli Army Code of Ethics. Professor Halbertal will also try and help us to understand the current political situation in Israel.
Immediately following the talk at 1:15PM, BJ members are invited to remain on the Zoom for small group discussions to process the learning and our own feelings. Please come prepared to participate in the spirit of our community’s commitment to civil discourse and sacred listening.
