The pandemic has changed so many things for all of us, not the least of which is the way we experience death, dying, and mourning. In addition, COVID-19 has exacerbated and illuminated the challenges that the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color) community faces in both quality of and access to healthcare, as well as higher mortality rates. Join us to hear from two experts in the field (Dr. Julia Iyasere, Executive Director of the Dalio Center for Health Justice and BJ member Linda Golding, Staff Chaplain and Coordinator of Pastoral Services at Milstein Hospital), who will share their learning and wisdom from this past year.
