Finding Joy in Times of Stress: A Jewish Mindfulness Workshop
Join Aviv and Yael Shy for a mindfulness and mental health workshop. The Jewish month of Adar is traditionally supposed to be a time of joy and playfulness. Many of us are struggling accessing joy, however, in these times of stress, anxiety and upheaval.
Through meditation, journaling, and partner-based learning, you will leave the workshop with some tools to manage overwhelming emotions like anxiety and loneliness, cultivate heart-opening experiences, like awe, gratitude and love and find space for sustainable, everyday joy – even when times are tough.
Bring a journal and a pen! No prior meditation experience necessary.
Proof of vaccination is required. Please bring proof of your vaccination to this event as well as either a surgical mask, KN95, or N95 mask.
