Children’s Coat Drive for Afghan Refugee Families at Fort Dix

Thousands of refugees arrived from Afghanistan with few belongings, and many remain in housing at Fort Dix in New Jersey with no winter coats. We are joining the Synagogue Coalition on the Refugee & Immigration Crisis and the Westchester Jewish Coalition for Immigration to help collect 500 children’s winter coats, as well as black or brown hair dye.

Coats can be dropped off any time outside 89th Street between 8:00AM-6:00PM on December 13, 15, 20, and 22.
