Julie Wilcox, founder of The Julie Wilcox Method and co-founder of ISHTA Yoga, will guide you through a thoughtfully sequenced session of breathing, chair yoga, and meditation. The practice will begin with Julie teaching you the Ujjayi technique of breathing, which is aimed at focusing your mind, balancing your emotions, heating your body, and bolstering your overall mind-body connection. We will explore a series of in-chair smooth flowing physical movements designed to strengthen and stretch all of your muscles. The practice will conclude with a short meditation that will help you complete the process of quieting your mind so that you can head back to your activities of daily living with calm and clarity.
