Antisemitism in NYC 2021: What’s Really Happening?

Recent reports of increased antisemitic harassment, vandalism, and violence are always concerning, but what is really going on, especially here in New York City? And what can we do about it? In this moderated panel discussion, we will discuss recent antisemitic incidents in New York City, how they connect to other forms of hate, our city’s response, and how you can take action. Moderated by Andrew Silow-Caroll, editor-in-chief, The New York Jewish Week, with Deborah Lauter, executive director of the Mayor’s Office for the Prevention of Hate Crimes; Scott Richman, regional director, ADL NY/NJ; and Leo Ferguson, of Jews for Racial and Economic Justice.
