Engage with fellow members of your BJ community to reflect on the April environmental pledge on food, learn more about the benefits of plant-based food, and discuss the future of Kiddushim at BJ!
We will be joined by author and wellness consultant, Julie Wilcox, whose new book “The Win-Win Diet: How to be Plant-Based and Still Eat What You Love,” offers an actionable guide to incorporating a flexible and sustainable plant-based diet solution that works for different individuals’ eating patterns. Julie Wilcox will share how her work as a nutrition and wellness coach and her new book touch on the interrelated themes of food, wellness and sustainability.
We will also reflect and discuss, as a community, what values you’d like to see incorporated at BJ for communal food events as we resume more in-person programming, and particularly Kiddush after Shabbat morning services.
We invite you to join us regardless of whether you signed the BJ Environmental Pledge!
You can purchase a copy of Julie Wilcox’s book, “The Win-Win Diet: How to be Plant-Based and Still Eat What You Love,” here.
